What is Reiki?
Reiki is a simple relaxation technique that helps your body shift out of stress mode and into “rest and restore” mode. A practitioner uses light touch, or even just holds their hands near you to help you slow down, breathe, and let your nervous system unwind. Think of it like hitting a reset button for your mind and body, similar to the calm you feel after yoga, a good massage, or time in nature. And yes, remote Reiki is a real thing: even over a video call or phone session, the practitioner guides you into deep relaxation while you get cozy at home. It’s really just about creating space for your body to do what it naturally does; rebalance and restore.
